I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley attending Eastern Mennonite School, enjoying the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River, and great food around this area. I live in Broadway, enjoying El Ranchero, and the drive to Harrisonburg with the views I'm given every day.

I love kayaking, fishing, hiking, and grilling especially in the fall season. Sharing a meal with friends is my preferred Friday night activity, I'd do it every night if I could. I serve as the Rotary District 7570 Area 3 Membership Advocate for Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. I'm currently serving on the boards of Valley Business Keynote and ShenValley Young Professionals Association; I believe we all have a responsibility to give back to our communities with our greatest resource - time. Harrisonburg is a wonderful place with a lot to offer. I'm encouraged by the generosity of our community, and I'm inspired by the many business leaders in this area who exemplify servant leadership in all they say and do.

Currently, my favorite book is Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin.
